Welcome Back

We have had a great first two days of getting to know one another in our classroom.  We have been organizing ourselves and going through rules and procedures so that we can start the year off right and be prepared to learn.

The students received their journal homework tonight.  Each week, students will have three journal entries to complete.  Students glued in a rubric to their composition and we discussed how they would be graded.  I will collect all journals at the end of each month.   This is a great tool to practice becoming a better writer.  Be sure to ask your students what they are writing about each week!!
